I am not sure what upset the devil but it sure is hotter than hell here.  It has been in the mid 90’s with at least that much humidity.  At one point the outside of my house was sweating.  Luckily we have some window air conditioners that helped dry the place out.  Between that and the dehumidifier in the basement the house was almost comfortable.  Good thing I am used to it being nearly 80 degrees even with the air on.  Gpa thinks he is freezing when the temp gets much less than 80.  Hopefully he is staying inside and not overdoing it in this heat.

Last weekend Hubby and I went apartment hunting.  We found me a nice two bedroom townhouse right in the town where I will be working.  I will be able to move in by the end of the month.  Life is changing so much.  I am just trying to keep up.

I saw a story on GMA this morning that was about a couple that because of the economy has been forced to live together.  They have been married/together for 10 years and had never lived together, they now “share” and apartment that has been bifurcated.  They each have their own space except for the one bathroom in the apartment which they share.  Hubby and I will have two separate places, four hours apart.  Well it is two hours closer than before.  I am pretty sure there are a lot of people out there that have to live apart.  Every military person that is deployed lives away from their families, everyone who has a job that requires a significant amount of travel lives apart from their families, everyone who is divorced and whose kids live somewhere else lives apart from their families.  Most of us do not find it news worthy; we do what we have to do to support our families.

I am thoroughly enjoying my week home, in spite of the heat.  It will be a while before I can spend this much uninterrupted time in my beautiful bedroom.  It is one of my favorite places on this earth.  BFF painted it for me in soothing green; I have sheets and blankets that match.  I have light airy white curtains that finish off the look.  I am hoping that I can make my room in my new apartment as soothing a place as this one.

Had my yearly mammogram yesterday! Have you had yours?
